These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Save My Snaps mobile application (“the app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What the app is

Save My Snaps is a personal utility that processes a Snapchat data export you already own, rebuilding your Memories with their captions, stickers, and overlays on your own device. The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Snap Inc. or Snapchat. “Snapchat” and related marks are the property of their respective owners.

Your responsibilities

• You may only use the app to process content that you own or are otherwise authorized to use.
• You are responsible for complying with Snapchat’s terms and any applicable laws when requesting, downloading, and using your data export.
• You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important files. The app modifies nothing in your original export, but you use it at your own risk.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to use it to process content you have no right to, reverse engineering it except where permitted by law, or using it in any way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that every overlay will be reconstructed exactly.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or media, arising out of or related to your use of the app.

Third-party services and stores

Your download and use of the app through an app store are also subject to that store’s terms. When you export content to another app, service, or the system share sheet, that content is governed by the terms and privacy practices of the destination you choose.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted at this URL, and we will update the “Last updated” date above.
